Let’s get one thing straight: I’m a writer first. An award-winning journalist with an arts and education background, I specialize in developing gritty, honest, sometimes dark and always unforgettable stories. Keep an eye out for my next release, a collection of short contemporary fiction stories featuring strong women with a tie to water.

At Pomegraf Creative, I walk with newer authors as they work through initial concept development and offer approachable editing for real people who have ideas, make mistakes, and want an editor who holds them accountable to better writing. I’m also available as a second set of eyes if you simply need a smart cookie to put some polish on almost-finished work before it goes public.

Camera in hand, I also savor telling backstories from behind the lens, capturing events and snapping street photography. Whether I’m photographing a private wine tasting or a large-scale protest, I love knowing I am involved with visual storytelling, capturing history.
